Internet freedom has just got better and even more practical with Sun Cellular.
Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers to Sun Cellular can now access Facebook anytime, anywhere without worrying about paying too much on data charges and having to look and sniff for free WiFi hotspots.
According to Sun Cellular’s Vice President Joel Lumanlan, Sun provides subscribers the best-value for money options with its various plans and promos packed with enjoyable features. He added, “…with this offer, Sun strengthens its line-up of already compelling services so that all your communication needs are covered – from calls, texts, mobile Internet and this time staying in touch with your family and friends on Facebook.”
With this new feature, Sun and Facebook allow users to take full control of their Facebook experience by simply flipping a switch available on the upper right corner of the screen. The switch conveniently shows “Free” to tell you that you’re accessing Facebook without incurring any data charges. In this state, however, photos will not be downloaded from Facebook’s server but still allows you to browse through your wall and even post status updates. A simple flip of the switch to “Paid” will allow you to fully experience Facebook. Take a look at demo screenies below for your reference.
For now, this feature is available only on Facebook thus you will be informed accordingly when you try to access features and websites that are not part of the offer.
Start accessing Facebook today for free today using Sun Cellular. Simply update your Facebook application or visit Facebook’s mobile website on your mobile browser. If you’re using Smart and Talk N’ Text, you’ll be happy to know that this promo is also available and open for you. Spectacular, isn’t it?
