On April 17, 2024, NBA fans in Manila were treated by vivo with an exclusive Meet and Greet event with 5-time NBA Champion, Derek Fisher. The event was done in collaboration with the National Basketball Association and held at the vivo Concept Store in SM Megamall.

A highlight of the event was the exclusive groufie with Fisher captured using the latest vivo V30 Pro. With its ZEISS triple main cameras and a 50MP front camera, the V30 Pro showcased its exceptional photography and capabilities.
Aside from the iconic moment, host Nikki Viola set the stage for an unforgettable experience filled with excitement and insight. Attendees were treated to a Q&A session with Fisher where he shared anecdotes from his basketball journey and reminisced about the championship victories.
He also offered valuable advice to young people in achieving their dreams, where he compared owning a business to becoming an athlete.
“If you can see it, you can dream it. You can get there, but then there’s light years of work still to do in order for you to maintain that dream,” he shared.
Moreover, attendees also had the privilege of witnessing the five-time NBA champion autograph official Wilson Basketball merchandise. There was also a fan sign session wherein fans received personalized autographs and photos with Fisher.
