Here are the unboxing photos of my Nokia N900. I’m currently preparing the unboxing video so stay tuned for it.

I recently I blogged about this phone’s availability in the Philippines. Unfortunately, only Infomaxx has this phone in their stocks for Php 48,000.00 each. That’s too expensive for a phone. That’s more than Php 23,000.00 if based on its US retail price. However, if you are going to buy one from the states, be sure to ask your relatives to just include your unit in their balikbayan box/boxes so that it won’t be subjected to tax. My experience served as lesson for me – it’s wiser to ask some one buy it for you and have them delivered to you through someone they trust or through balikbayan boxes.

Before I got my unit, I had to pay Php 5,000+ as payment for the Customs Duties and Taxes. That’s too expensive for a tax. The worse thing is that when i received the Remittance slip from FedEx, i realized that Bureau of Customs did not itemize the total Taxes they imposed. (Darn!) I will show you on my next blog a scanned copy of the remittance slip. Still, if I sum up all I spent for this lovely beast, mine is still cheaper for 10 grand (N900 phone + 16 gb MiniSDHC).

Anyway, enough of this, enjoy looking at the pictures below! And check on the related posts as well.
