The world’s most favorite browser will be available for Windows and Android mobile devices soon! It was reported that Mozilla recently officially launched Firefox Mobile for Maemo devices like N810 and N900. This time, 2 more mobile operating systems will get a chance to have Firefox as its alternative browser. The Windows Mobile version is currently on Alpha 3 stage. However, you can already start testing it by click this link on your Windows Mobile 6 device.

Mozilla stated in their website that they are currently investigating on developing a mobile version of Firefox for Android platforms. My hunch on this: give it 2-3 months and Android users will get a chance to test it too in their cellphones. What about you? What’s your take on this? Are you excited?
Update: I just looked back at Mozilla’s Wiki for Fennec for other mobile platforms. Apparently, they updated the status of Fennec for Android as ‘YET TO BE RELEASED’. They are really taking it so seriously.
