I just got a package from Womworld that contains a loot bag, badge, t-shirt, 5 3D glasses and exclusive invitation to become “virtually” part of Nokia World 2010. I was really surprised with the effort they’ve made to send out these gifts things just to invite me to the event.
Nokia World is an international conference made and organized by Nokia to inform everyone about their latest researches, devices and services. Last year’s conference was made memorable by the announcement of 4 phones – the first and last Maemo 5 OS handset, N900; their first capacitive-screen music phone, X6; the now famous and I-see-it-everywhere phone, N97 Mini; and their first 3G netbook, the Booklet 3G. It was also then that they released Nokia Money, Ovi SDK and navigation API. Thanks to Ovi SDK, I was able to create my very own Ovi App, Gadget Pilipinas.
What’s going to happen this year then? Look at the 2-day agenda below:
New phones are expected to be launched on the 15th. Rumor says that 4 new phones will be introduced to the public – their first Meego OS phone, N9; the successor to the E90, the E7; an addition to the mid-range full touchscreen smartphone and a relative of Nokia C3, the C6-01 (don’t mind the weird name).
