I was invited to attend Blogapalooza yesterday, September 17, at the Function Room of Fully Booked, Bonifacio High Street. The event was spearheaded by WhenInManila.com and hosted by Vince Golangco. 150 Bloggers and 50 Business/companies were present at the very 1st B2B (business to bloggers) networking event.
Blogapalooza is not an ordinary event. It is founded on Business to Bloggers (B2B) concept – a medium which aims to create an engagement between the two parties. It links big and small business to the social media and internet savvy bloggers to promote their products and services while helping bloggers to expand their reader-base in the process. Yesterday’s Blogapalooza captured the very essence of its goal. Needless to say, it was perfectly executed.
Booths from different companies, foods, photo booth and even a dance pole (yeah, you read that right!) filled the event area. It was really a fun scene.
The event kicked off at exactly 1:15 P.M. Since all the representatives of companies/business were only given 5 minutes to present the classic way (no PowerPoints/Keynotes), the event was expected to end around 5:30 – 6:30 (with 2 breaks and 2 raffle times). Spoiler: It ended at 6:00 P.M. Companies/Business present were the following (in order of presentation):

With all these sponsors, you can already imagine the size of the loot bags I got after the event.
Undeniably, Blogapalooza is one of the most successful blogging event I’ve attended. It was well planned and executed. I met a lot of blogger-friends and had a chance to meet new ones. I was able to give my calling cards to the business my readers (both gadgetpilipinas.net and BigMouthGeek.com would love to hear about). I just can’t wait to fill my websites with exciting news about their new products and services! Who knows?! They may end up to be my sponsors for some online contents I’ll be running soon.
