One of the country’s leading Filipino-owned smartphone distribution companies, Cherry Mobile, has recently launched 2 new Android Smartphones. Their event, which they called “Flare Up” was hosted by Bianca Gonzales at One Esplanade, SM Central Business Park. With these latest additions, the company lives up to its promise of delivering products that equate to high end brands at extremely competitive prices. By ‘extremely’, we mean prices that break the barrier of disbelief.
Cherry Mobile FLARE
This dual-SIM, dual standby smartphone, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Dual Core processor, each running at 1.2 Ghz. Initially, we were in total disbelief when they announced that this phone is packed with a premium CPU. It has a 4-inch IPS capacitive touch panel for flawless navigation and runs on Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Cherry Mobile did not announce if the device can be upgraded to Jellybean.

Cherry Mobile also announced another dual sim and dual core smartphone, Titan. It has a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen and powered by a 1.0 GHz dual core processor (not Snapdragon). You can take instant photos with its 5MP Auto Focus Camera with Flash and store it on its 4GB internal memory. You don’t need to worry about memory as this phone lets you expand it up to 32GB. It’s also preloaded with Opera Mini which offers faster mobile browsing and updates your social media accounts and take your social life with you anywhere you go.

According to Cherry Mobile, Titan is already available; while Flare will be available by 1st week of November 2012.
