Cherry Mobile Cosmos X is the most affordable variant of CM’s Cosmos Line-up. Priced at, PhP9,999, Cosmos X is packed with a PhP1.2 Ghz Quad Core Processor and 1GB RAM.
The device was launched last Wednesday at One Esplanade along with Cosmos X2, S and Z. Although we were told that the device will be available in 2-3 weeks, I was actually surprised to know that Cherry Angel is already selling it. As a matter of fact, he also posted an unboxing video for us to enjoy!

Aside from the usual contents that you get from Cherry Mobile (phone, charger, headset and microUSB cable), Cosmos X has more bonus content in the box like free flip cover, extra screen guard at back cover. These are definitely awesome bonuses that give value for your money.
The device’s most celebrated feature is its Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protected Super HD Amoled screen. At the price of PhP9,999, this is definitely one of the cheapest phones available in the Philippines today. Cherry Mobile is the first local mobile phone company in the Philippines that launched a phone with such feature and calibre.
Its Super HD Amoled Screen is definitely a stunner especially if you’re a media and gaming buff! During the launch, this phone’s screen gave justice to the saved high resolution photos we browsed.
In terms of form factor, the Cosmos X’s volume rockers are placed on the right side of the device. Sleep and wake button and 3.5mm headphone jack can be seen on top. It has a dedicated camera button on the lower right side of the device, which I think is cool for photo enthusiasts.
Another awesome feature of Cosmos X is its 18mp rear and 8mp front facing camera. It’s also BSI so you’d be able to take money shots even at low light environment. I can’t say much about its camera because I never got to test its quality during the launch. Of course, I can’t wait to test it once I received a unit from Cherry Mobile.
