Our friends from social media and tech blogging industry have fresh leaked information about Cherry Mobile’s new devices. It looks like most of us will be in for very great surprise this Christmas with CM’s new phones. This also confirms the almost-monthly releases of Cherry Mobile. You will probably remember that CM recently outed Flare 2, Flare 2X, Burst and Apollo just a month ago.

According to our friends from MobileTechPinoy and NoypiGeeks, the new phones are the following:

W900 LTE

  • 4.3-inch HD OGS Display
  • 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chip
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB internal storage
  • Single-SIM LTE
  • 12-megapixel BSI camera with LED flash
  • SRP: Php11,499

The leaked posted didn’t say that it has MicroSD slot. I think though that it doesn’t have one. This should have a battery with more than 1,800 mAh, because it’s a fact that LTE connection sucks a lot of juice when it’s enabled. I should say though that I’m very excited with this phone. This phone will put Cherry Mobile in the pedestal as the first local mobile phone company to offer an LTE-capable phone. It’s quite pricey though because of the Snapdragon processor, but once Mediatek ships LTE modem MT6290 to CM’s OEM provider, we might have LTE phones with less than 9k price tag from Cherry Mobile.

Hero

  • 5″ Capacitive Touchscreen
  • 1.2GHz Quad-Core (Mediatek 6589)
  • Dual SIM
  • 8mp Rear Camera w/ flash
  • 2mp Front Camera
  • SRP: Php5,499

This is something that can ride along with Cherry Mobile Apollo. It doesn’t show if this has a Qualcomm or Mediatek processor, but it’s highly possible that it has the latter judging from its price point. I am afraid that this one only has a 512mb RAM and 4GB internal memory. If you’re itching to get Apollo, but you’re short on budget, this is your next best bet.

Titan 2.0

  • 5″ HD IPS OGS Display
  • 1.2GHz Quad-Core 6589
  • 1GB RAM/4GB Internal Memory
  • Dual SIM
  • 12mp Rear BSI Camera w/ flash
  • 5mp Front BSI Camera
  • SRP: Php8,999

The follow up to last year’s Titan is finally here. This new phone is big leap from its predecessor. It sports a wildly different look compared to Titan 1.0 and I’m expecting its screen to look similar to Cosmos Z. If you still have Titan, and you’re wanting to replace it with something better without spending a lot, this can be your next phone.

Omega HD 2X

  • 5.7″ Full HD IPS Display
  • 1.5GHz Quad-Core 6589T
  • 2GB RAM/32GB Internal Memory
  • 18mp Rear BSI Camera w/ flash
  • 8mp Front BSI Camera
  • SRP: Php12,399

One of the most loved Android phone of Cherry Mobile now has an even more badass follow up – Omega HD 2x. I’m starting to think that Cherry Mobile’s new naming convention will highly involve ‘2x’ in most of their recently launched products, which denotes ‘more power’ and ‘better but more expensive than the non-2x’. (Lol!)

Seriously though, the specs of Omega HD 2X is very much akin to Cosmos Z. The differences I see on this device though is its 32gb internal memory and its bigger Full HD IPS screen. It’s quite pricey, but at least it’s something that those who just bought Omega HD 2.0 would rant about. The price of OHD2 and OHD2X is PhP3,400, which I think is high enough for owners of the former to say “Nah, that’s okay.”

Cherry Mobile has indeed surprised us again with this news. Well, thanks to our friends from social media and from the blogging community for letting us know all of this. So what now? I think it’s time we all save up, so we can all have a merry and techie Christmas!
