Sweet mother of leaks! Hours before Samsung Unpacked event at MWC in Spain, @SaudiAndroid leaked several images the Samsung Galaxy S5. All images seem very legit and show all the rumor features of the 5th iteration of Galaxy S.
Based on the leaked images, the new Galaxy S is still made of plastic contrary to rumors that it would have metal casing. It also confirmed later by the @SaudiAndroid that it’s not made of metal.
@picxar No metal :(

As seen on the photo above, Galaxy S5 has bigger build and features a dotted faux leather back panel. The camera looks different too, and the flash seems to be accompanied by two dots, which remain to be explained later during the official launch. The rear facing camera is 16mp and has a new feature called “selective focus”. The latter means that you can take a picture and later decide which subject to focus or defocus.
It’s rumored that this device can capture up to 4k resolution of video but that remains to be confirmed later.
A finger print sensor and onboard heart sensor were also revealed on the leak based on the snaps provided by the leaker. The new Galaxy is also waterproof and dust proof with ingress protection (IP) standard of 67 – or simply, IO67.
IP stands for ‘Ingress Protection’
An IP number is used to specify the environmental protection of enclosures around electronic equipment. These ratings are determined by specific tests.
The IP number is composed of two numbers, the first referring to the protection against solid objects and the second against liquids. The higher the number, the better the protection.
