Gadget case and cover maker, SwitchEasy is known for creating quality and trendy materials for Apple users. Last July, we posted our unboxing and first impressions of Bonds. This time, I would like to share with you how I find one of its latest covers, Melt.

Here are the things you can find on the retail box of Melt:

  • Internal silicone case
  • Hard shell with melting plastic design
  • Anti-static screen guard
  • Microfiber wipe
  • Squeegee to easily install screen guard

This isn’t just trendy and fashionable

Sleek, stylish and unique – this is how I find SwitchEasy Melt. But Melt is more than just a stylish case. Its fashionable “demeanor” is coupled with tough materials, ready to protect the iPhone 5 or iPhone 5s.

The silicone cover essentially protects the iPhone from accidental bumps and scratches. Installing it is very easy too! The lightning port and 3.5mm headphone jack are also covered by its built-in port covers. This will lessen the risk of water getting into the ports. I’ve got to tell you though that the case does neither make your phone water proof nor water resistant.

Sleep/Wake switch, lock and volume rockers are pretty well protected too.

The hard clip-on design can easily be installed by snapping it to the silicone cover. It is made up of  hydro polymer and polycarbonate – very tough materials and can really pack a punch!

Its design will not just give your phone a fresh and stylish look, but also gives your phone additional grip. As a matter of fact, this is one of the best things I experienced with Melt.
