Finally! My Cherry Mobile Razor 2 has arrived, fresh from the factory. Last week, I showed you guys an engineering unit that Cherry Mobile showed me when I visited them. A week later, I just could not contain my excitement to show you the unboxing event I’ve waited for a week.

Aside from writing a conventional article that details or tells you my experience with the device, I’ve decided to come up with something better. I will take your valid questions and requests, and I’ll answer them one-by-one when I’ve got time. This will run for 1-2 weeks. It’s like Reddit’s AMA (ask me anything). This way, I should be able to address some of your concerns, and in the process, I’m soliciting content from you. I’m gonna call this new content, TYQ or Taking Your Questions (pronounced as t’ik).

TYQ: Cherry Mobile Razor 2

[su_spoiler title=”Is it real na MSM8226 SoC nito??” open=”yes” style=”simple” icon=”plus-circle”]No. According to Antutu Benchmark, the registered SoC Model is Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 MSM8610, with ARM Cortex-A7 rev 3 Architecture. [Thank you, Vince Estella Balahan.][/su_spoiler]

The phone performs really fast. That’s expected for a device running on a Snapdragon processor. While I wanted and preferred this to have a Snapdragon 400, at PhP6,499, its impressive fast performance is forgivable and barely an issue.

[su_spoiler title=” he he he,ok take your time.medyo excited lang kasi to have one din.quiry ko lang yung quality ng screen,hd gaming at batt life po sana.thanks.” open=”yes” style=”simple” icon=”plus-circle”]I will, for now, be able to answer your question about screen quality. It is top-notch. It can recognize up to 5 multi-touches. Screen is HD (720×1280) with pixel density of 320dpi based on Phone Tester. [Thanks, Allan Algarne for the question.][/su_spoiler]

[su_spoiler title=”Sir Giancarlo Muñoz Viterbo patest nrin po yung camera quality ” open=”yes” style=”simple” icon=”plus-circle”]Please see sample photos below. Flash is powerful enough to illuminate subjects as seen on the 1st three photos below. Color saturation and vibrancy is acceptable as well. This one’s really good for its price.

The 4th photo (Acer Iconia W4) has a resolution of 4000 x 3000, with 1/20 shutter speed and aperture of f/2.3. ISO is set at Auto, but the sensor registered it at 302.
