PLDT Home Bro recently invited us at SMX, MOA Complex in Pasay to witness the official launch of Ultera. The said service is home internet connection powered by TD-LTE or Time Division Duplex – Long Term evolution, which offers speeds of up to 10Mbps.
During the launch, the energetic and spontaneous PLDT AVP and head of Home Fixed Wireless Solutions Ava Espanola said that Ultera is the perfect fit for digitally active families and it allows for continuos family fun and bonding whether it’s through social media, online streaming or downloading.

The new service from PLDT offers a variety of special add-on perks for the family to enjoy. They can bond over hundreds of blockbuster movies, TV series episodes and animes from Clickplay, Asianovelas and MyPinoyTV. There is also a music streaming service via Spinnr, which is powered by Smart Music. There is also a plethora of available games from EA Games, which users can download!
The launch of PLDT Home Bro Ultera also coincides with the launch of the brand’s new ambassadors – the Teng siblings (Jeric and Jeron) and sister Almira.
During the launch, Jeron Teng said that they’re happy to be together as family as PLDT Home Bro Ultera’s ambassadors. He added that Internet is important to them, and they wouldn’t settle for anything less than the best wireless broadband for their home.
