Technology Innovator, LG, officially launched today the successor of last year’s best smartphone. With its key message ‘Simple is the New Smart’, the LG Mobile’s newest flagship combines the best of what LG’s current technology has to offer with a much simpler user experience.

The star studded event, which was held at Enderun Tent in McKinley Hill, was an opportune time for dealers, media and celebrities to experience the perfect coalescence of simplicity and elegance of the G3. Top-billed by LG Brand Ambassadors, Maxene Magalona, Kiefer Ravena, and Thomas Torres, the event was graced by notable celebrities, media professionals and sports stars. We also spotted Phoemela Baranda, Team Kramer, Marie Lozano, MJ Lastimosa, Axel Torres, Anton Diaz, Divine Lee, Antoinette Taus, Fabio Ide and Jodilly Pendre.
“Stars” in the tech and media industry were also present last night like Mantosh Malhotra of Qualcomm, award-winning conceptual photographer Niccolo Cosme and celebrity film and commercial director Joaquin Valdes. They shared their experienced with LG G3’s superior hardware performance.
The LG G3 features a lot of hardware and software enhancements. With simplicity as its underlying philosophy, the G3’s design espouses a floating arc design, which magically makes the phablet very comfortable to hold despite its big 4k 5.5-inch display with 538ppi. Its sleek metallic body was made lightweight and convenient to carry around. The signature Rear Key first introduced in the LG G2 has become more refined and blended seamlessly into the G3.
Of course, the improved camera of the G3 simply put the phone under the radar of photographers and videographers. Its 13-megapixel main camera with a winning combination of Optical Image Stabilization Plus (OIS+) and the world’s first Laser Auto Focus make the G3 the most innovative device we’ve seen to date.
And yes, how can we all forget the fact that this device is the first smartphone packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor 801. Performance-wise, this is undeniably the phone to beat. I managed to test its performance prowess last week and I was really impressed with it. When benchmarked, G3 registers a tad lower than expected, but that’s only because of its feature of optimizing resources to save its whopping 3,000mAh battery.
There are also plenty of smart features found on the 3rd iteration of LG G series. There is Smart Keyboard, which makes typing messages all the more intuitive; Smart Notice that provides suggestions and recommendations based on user behavior; and Smart Security, which offers a number of enhanced security features such as the trademark Knock Code and Content Lock. These are all found on LG G3, enabled and simplified with its latest LG UI.
If you’re now out in the market to look for a premium flagship device, the G3 is now available in four colors – Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold and Burgundy Red. 16gb variant costs PhP29,990 a pop, while the 32gb one costs PhP33,990. There are also plenty of accessories to increase your G3 experience – LG Quick Circle Case, LG Tone Infinim powered by the premium Harman/Kardon, the LG G Watch, and a compact and foldable wireless charger.
