Most of the time, smartphone protection efficiency requires cases to have tons of silicon layers with features that rhyme with H20 or other acronyms. Such aren’t necessarily bad, but there are just times when you wish to protect your fragile iPhone 5s from accidental bumps and dings without sacrificing its looks.

Thankfully, Otterbox, the number one most trusted smartphone case brand in the US has created and sent us a case that cannot just protect the phone but can also retain the iPhone 5s’ attractive look.  This is the Otterbox Symettry.

The Otterbox Symmetry Series isn’t just available for the iPhone 5s. It is also available for iPhone 5c, Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5 and HTC One (M8). It features drop protection, thanks to its one-piece design with shock-absorbing interior. Otterbox Symmetry isn’t just all about drop protection though.

Designed and tested for over a year, its single-molded design make it the slimmest and most protective in its class. It also has a raised beveled edge helps the touch screen safe. As seen above, its internal synthetic rubber with honeycomb coring is designed to protect the iPhone from drops and shock. No secondary layer; just a single fitted case, aimed to efficiently protect the device without making your pocket too fat.

Installing the phone to the case is very easy. Simply slip and fit the phone to the case, and you’re good to go. It requires though a bit of effort but it’s highly manageable.

Unfortunately, if you’re using a thick screen protector, there is a high chance that you will have to remove it to fit the phone to the case perfectly. I, for one, had to remove my screen protector just to be able to install the case properly.

Now, if you’re after fashionable cases, Symmetry comes in a full spectrum of colors and graphics including dreamy pink, triangle grey and glacier white. I don’t know about you guys, but the white with gray accent I got already looks fantastic.

The case series is now available for PhP2,150 in solid colors, and PhP2,500 for select graphic designs.
