Being a very mobile person, I missed watching the game of Gilas Pilipinas vs Croatia last Saturday. Thankfully, this app allowed me watch the replay telecast of the said game on my Cherry Mobile Flare 3.

Watching TV5 and Aksyon is free. But if you wish to watch Ad-Free Gilas FIBA matches, all you have to do is pay using your load for only PhP15 per day. I am on postpaid bill, so I just simply have to expect Smart to charge it to my bill. This model has a huge potential because Smart can easily bring more free and pay-per-view channels in the future.

Smart is really on a roll when it comes to pushing content to more Filipinos who do not own a credit card. Filipinos can now purchaseAs a form of e-commerce platform, Smart’s innovative approach to offer services and content to Filipinos using prepaid or postpaid load is a good solution to the low credit card penetration rate of the country. Apps like Viewstream, SPINNR, Buqo and Gamex are obvious examples of the telco’s innovative solutions.
