Arc Mobile’s back; and their flagship phone, Velocity, is packed with specs that can definitely take your breath, not your Christmas fund, away. Check out our unboxing of the Arc Mobile Velocity.

I am an avid follower and fan of Arc Mobile since they first got into the smartphone industry a little over a year ago. Their products with surprisingly good quality are perfect for people with stiff budget. Arc Mobile Velocity, for instance, is a perfect example of this; and I’m really excited to see how you guys will find and receive this product.

Velocity is Arc Mobile’s first octa-core device. Its specs are approximately the same with that of Cherry Mobile’s Cosmos Z2. Its price is what basically makes it interesting – it only costs a little less than PhP8,000 or less than PhP7,000 if you buy it from Lazada.

It’s high caliber processor and GPU are suitable for hardcore mobile gaming. It would have been better though had they put a 2gb RAM in it. During my initial test, it has fast camera and is able to adapt easily even at low-light conditions. But of course, this will subject to our full review pretty soon. So don’t hold our initial thoughts and impressions reliable.

One thing that struck me though is its design. It’s tapered side with almost rubbery feel is very comfortable to hold. It has non-slippery texture too so that should take away the worry that it might get off your hands very easily. We’ll surely cover more of this when we review this soon, so be sure to check it out.

Here’s the full specs of the said phone:

  • 1.7GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6592 Processor
