Fujifilm Releases X-series Cameras and Lenses in the Philippines

This is the very first time that the Fujifilm releases the X-series cameras and lenses, specifically the X100T, X-T1 Graphite Silver Edtion, X30 cameras and the XF50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR and 56mm F1.2 R APD lenses in the Asia. The main man of the event is Mr. Hiroshi Kawahara. He is dubbed as the X-man, meaning, the founder and the father of X-series cameras. He personally promoted his “babies”, the X100 , X100S and X100T.

Fujifilm X100T

The new Fujifilm X100T is a premium compact digital camera that has effective pixels of 16.3 megapixels. According to world-renowned photographers, Vineet Vohra and Rohit Vohra, the X100T can permanently replace your DSLRs because of its great performance and quality and compact feel. The X100T features the world’s first electronic rangefinder in which you can manual focus your subject right from the optical viewfinder. Its sensor is also upgraded to APS-C size X-Trans CMOS II while the FUJINON 23mm F2 lens is already available when you buy the X100T. The Classic Chrome film simulation mode has an advanced color reproduction technology that produces breathtaking image quality.

Fujifilm X-T1 Graphite Silver Edition

The X-T1 Graphite Silver Edition is a new color variant from the previously best-buy Fujifilm X-T1 mirrorless camera. This Graphite Silver Edition has six stages of coating to acquire the graphite silver shade. The X-T1 received enormous amount of praises from different professional photographers because of its superb performance. It features the world’s fastest Real Time Viewfinder with just a lag-time of 0.005 sec with a dust and weather-resistant body. It also has an upgraded electronic shutter speed with 1/32000 second. That’s blazing fast!

Fujifilm X30

Like the X-T1, the X30 also features the newly-developed Real Time Viewfinder. Its sensor is a large 2/3-inch X-TRans CMOS II, capable of capturing 12 megapixel quality photo with no optical low pass filter. The Classic Chrome film simulation mode is also included in the X30. The battery performance of the X30 has also been improved which can capture of up 470 photos: it is 1.8 times greater than the previous models. There will be two color options available: black or silver.

FUJINON XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR

One of the key features of this telephoto zoom lens is that it has the world’s first Triple Linear Motor that is capable of captures in high-speed with quiet autofocus. Its focal length is equivalent to 76-213mm with an aperture of F2.8. The lens barrel is a weather and dust-resistant that can work in below 10 degrees Celsius.

FUJINON XF56mm F1.2 R APD

The XF56mm has one of the fastest apertures of its class. The F1.2 is the world’s brightest autofocus lens for digital cameras with APS-C sensor. Its focal length is equivalent to 85mm and what is really cool about this lens is that it has an Apodization filter that is capable of capturing photos with a creamy bokeh. Not only it snaps a beautiful bokeh, it also maintain the sharpness with accurate focusing even in a shallow depth-of-field.
