Tons of standalone or complementing accessories were launched this year. Despite not being ready for prime time, wearables graduated from concepts to actual consumer products. During the 1st week of December, O+ and Cherry Mobile jumped into the bandwagon and launched wearables too! (CM is a bit of an exemption as it launched the G1 earlier this year). This month, PowerMac also launched new products that may be purchased from their retail stores.
But the year isn’t all about wearables and accessories, it’s also a year of new beginnings, innovations and partnerships. This is also the year when…
- More affordable quad-core devices were launched
- Microsoft and Firefox were introduced to even wider socio-economic class
- Intel, as a mobile processor and SoC manufacturer, “schooled” other brands like Qualcomm, Mediatek and Rockchip thru the Zenfone line and other devices launched by Cloudfone
- Current Gen gaming exploded! Xbox One is slowly catching up, but Playstation 4 is going to end as the undisputed winner this 2014… yet again.
