Yes, you read our title right. This is your very first look at the 1st tablet made by a local company with Android Lollipop Installed, the Cloudpad One 7.0. We received our review unit this afternoon and we just couldn’t contain our excited to unbox and share our initial thoughts about it to all of you.
Here is our unboxing video plus specs round-up for your viewing pleasure.
The Cloudpad One 7.0 is packed with an Intel Atom Processor Z3537G, 1.80GHz quad-core processor. It has 8GB ROM, with 4.90GB available storage for apps, but upgradable up to 32gb via MicroSD.
The tablet has a 7-inch IPS XGA Touchscreen, which delivers clear and good color reproduction. Brightness level is really bright, even at its lowest setting. If you’re into taking photos, Cloudpad One 7.0 has a 5mp Rear Camera with autofocus (no LED flash), and a 1.3mp front facing camera.
If you want to maximize the tablet and boost your productivity, the tablet is USB OTG compatible. This means that you can easily install keyboards or mouse, and also access regular sized USB drives, provided that you have an OTG cable.
Unfortunately, Cloudfone hasn’t given us yet the price of Cloudpad One 7.0. Since it’s categorized as an entry-level tablet, we’re hoping that they price this below PhP5,000. We’re crossing our fingers.
