We’ll all get to see Agent 47 back again with the movie reboot, Hitman: Agent 47. Based on the wildly successful video game franchise, Hitman, the movie tells the story of Agent 47 and how he wishes to terminate the one who started the Agent program.
The movie is top-billed by familiar Hollywood names like Homeland’s Rupert Friend (as Agent 47), Star Trek’s Zachary Quinto (as John Smith) and Road to Perdition’s and Frozen’s Ciarán Hinds.
According to CBR:[blockquote cite=”Comic Book Resources”]A reboot following 2007’s widely panned Hitman, Agent 47 stars Rupert Friend as a genetically engineered elite assassin who targets a mega-corporation that plans to unlock the secret of his past to create an army of killers. Zachary Quinto plays John Smith, who apparently aims to stop him by tracking down the one man who knows his weakness: the creator of the Agent program.[/blockquote]
I’m excited on how the film would depict the epic story of 47, and his methods of assassinating without losing his suaveness and keeping his cool. Will the film start with Agent 47 escaping an asylum? Will Zachary Quinto’s character be similar with the 2007 film, or will we see a twist at the end of movie? Will this be adaptation of Hitman Blood Money?
Hitman: Agent 47 will be out on August 28, 2015 in the USA.
