We recently had the pleasure of unboxing the brand new SKK Mobile Lynx smartphone for our most ardent techie readers (that means you), and there was at least one person who got curious about this new model’s retail price. So how much is it?
At the time of our unboxing we didn’t have any info on the SKK Mobile Lynx’s pricing yet. But we do now. Apparently, it’s going to be sold as the cheapest octa-core HD Android phone here in the Philippines. And to that end, SKK Mobile decided to give it a retail price of only Php 3,999.
That price makes it even cheaper than the Cherry Mobile Vibe, another budget octa-core phone with Android that got launched earlier this year. The SKK Mobile Lynx easily comes out as the better handset on paper, and not just based on price.
The Lynx boasts a “true” octa-core chipset in the form of the MediaTek MT6592 SoC. And it uses a 5-inch HD IPS touchscreen display as well as a whole host of respectable features like 8GB internal storage, 13MP rear autofocus camera, 5MP front camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HSPA+ data, HotKnot sharing, GPS with A-GPS, Android 4.4.2, and a 2,500mAh battery.
You can find out more about the SKK Mobile Lynx in our unboxing and initial impressions post for now. Our full review will be coming out soon.
