NBA 2K15 for Android is the most requested game our readers wanted us to test on the Cherry Mobile Flare X. The demand was overwhelming; we had to do some temporary “magic” in order for us to test the game on the new device by Cherry Mobile.
For starters, you need to understand that the developers of the game didn’t include Mali T760 as a supported GPU in order to run the game. Honestly, sideloading the game did the trick but we did not really expect the result we got. Watch the video below for your reference.
As seen from the video above, we encountered numerous stutters and hiccups while playing the game. Graphics were fantastic though: shading was good and character rendering is somewhat smooth. The game is highly playable, but the sound was utterly bad and sometimes funny. While the developers stated that the GPU isn’t fully supported, the issue on sound got us startled and confused. It the issue was indeed the GPU, we could have experience more graphic rendering issues than the ones related to sound.
What do you think about this, guys? Do you think the issues we encountered will be gone once Cherry Mobile rolls out a patch or perhaps the Lollipop update?
