Lenovo jumped into the phablet hype-train with its PHAB Plus. In an event earlier this morning at the EDSA Shangri La, tech giant, Lenovo, announced the availability of PHAB Plus. The device is the company’s response to the ever-growing demand for media consumption and mobile gaming on the go. During the event, Country General Manager for Lenovo Philippines, Michael Ngan, said that the PHAB Plus merges “fun of a tablet with the portability of a smartphone” in a very affordable price point. He also teased that an introductory PHAB model will later be available this year.
The event was also an opportune time for Lenovo to introduce their Southeast Asian brand ambassador, Suzy Bae. She is known to have impressive number of social media following and fans around the world. Suzy arrived in the Philippines last September 17 to grace the event and to attend in business-related appointments.

What can consumers actually get with the Lenovo PHAB Plus anyway?
Since it’s a tablet and phone rolled into one, it promises to bring excitement to mobile games and productivity addicts. Its 6.8-inch full HD panel display is ready to delight mobile bingle-watchers. Its IPS display with 326ppi definition makes sure that users are able to watch videos even at extreme angles. PHAB Plus is also capable of delivering superb sound quality with its Dolby Atmos powered speakers.
If you’re into mobile games, PHAB Plus does not shy away from bringing flagship-quality performance with its octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor and 2GB of RAM. We tested several devices before with almost the same hardware specifications, and we can definitely attest that everything is more than enough to let consumers enjoy playing. (PHAB Plus’ processor and RAM configuration are similar with the Lenovo Vibe Shot‘s and ASUS Zenfone Selfie.)
Build and form are two of the phablet’s glaring features. Available in two colors, Gunmetal Grey and Champage Gold, the Lenovo PHAB Plus can definitely be considered a delightful spectacle for geeks and gadget lovers. Here are some photos of the device for your reference.
If you are into taking photos and videos, the Lenovo PHAB Plus packs a 13mp rear (with dual tone LED flash) and 5mp front cameras. Its camera is complemented with a powerful camera software that allows users to take panoselfies (Panorama Selfies), HDR Mode, add filters, etc.
When is it going to be available? And How Much?
PHAB Plus is now available in all Allphone stores nationwide for PhP14,999. All devices are SIM unlocked so you can put in SIMs from various local telcos – Smart, SUN or Globe.
