OPPO is on a roll! Just last month, we all witnessed the launch of the Mirror 5. The launch of the latter was also Sarah Geronimo’s debut as the company’s latest endorser. This time, OPPO continues to bring more exciting to Filipinos with their latest product, the R7 Plus and R7 Lite.
What makes these 2 products different? Other than its screen size, the R7 Plus packs a magnesium-aluminum unibody and a 6-inch Full HD display. It’s bigger than your average phablet but it proved to be very sleek in form due to its build and form.
It is powered by an Octa-Core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor 615, complemented by a 3GB RAM. The device does not shortchange its users with storage space it has 32GB internal memory out of the box, and may be expanded up to 128GB more. Be it movies, music or other rich media content you would want to store ij the device, the OPPO R7 Plus definitely got you covered.
OPPO R7 Plus is also set to compete directly with the ASUS Zenfone Selfie and Lenovo Vibe Shot with its camera features. R7 Plus has a 13mp rear camera and laser focus, which promises to focus subject in under 0.3 seconds. Amazing. It has 8mp front camera, so you can take more than just one pabebe shot with this camera phone. Also, we got surprised to know that it only takes .07 seconds to turn on its camera.
Much can be said about the R7 Plus but I guess there’s more things we can cover on our review in a few weeks. For now, we are happy to report that the R7 Plus is now available for only PhP21,990.
And what about the R7 Lite?
Let me put it this way – it’s literally the lighter (or should I say ‘lite-r) version of the R7 Plus. It retains most of its physical features and packs similar innards with slight configurations to make it more budgey-friendly.
Perhaps the best way describe how different it is to say its main difference with the R7 Plus:
- Lower RAM (2GB)
- Lower internal memory (16GB)
- Lower battery capacity (2320mAh)
- Phase defection AF, no laser focus
- Smaller screen size (5-inches)
- No fingerprint reader
- Cheaper (PhP13,990)
During the launch, OPPO Global Community Manager, Martron Barcza, explained how they intricately designed the new R7 Series. He stressed that the new devices have gone through thorough research, development and manufacturing. He also said that the new R7 Series.
What can you say about these new phones by OPPO? What are the things that you would like us to cover and focus on our extensive review in the next few weeks.
