Sony Philippines today officially unveiled its latest Android-powered Xperia smartphones to be outed here in the Philippines. In an exclusive media event held at The Eye, The Green Sun, Makati City, Sony Philippines Managing Director Noboyushi Otake introduced the Sony Xperia Z5, Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, proudly touting each individual handset’s top-notch hardware and software features.

The Sony Xperia Z5 is the newest flagship model in Sony’s long-running Z series of smartphones, and it boasts a 5.2-inch Full HD screen with Corning Gorilla glass shatter-proof and scratch-resistant protection. Here are some of the Sony Xperia Z5’s highlight features:

The Sony Xperia Z5 is basically a smaller version of the Xperia Z5, with a more handy 4.6-inch screen. But it holds the same features of the slightly larger Sony Xperia Z5, so all of its highlight specs are almost exactly the same.

The Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z5 Compact, and Xperia Z5 all come with IP68 dust and water protection that will ensure that they all last for as long as the batteries keep running. Provided that the various hardware and mechanical parts don’t get damaged of course. But we’re digressing.

The Xperia Z5 Premiumwon’t be available until the Holiday season, but both the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact are going to appear in local stores some time within the next month. The Xperia Z5 is priced Php 35,990, while the Xperia Z5 Compact is priced Php 29,990.
