Kenxinda is China-based mobile phone manufacturer and assembly factor. The company has been engaged in the smartphone business since 2003, and it has been regarded as one of the leading manufacturers in China. We received reports from various sources that they served as OEM partners of local companies in the Philippines like MyPhone and Cherry Mobile.

The greek-inspired event was Ken Xin Da’s way to introduce its slew of new Android smartphones, which feature IP-68 certified build. Yes, we’re talking about water, dust and shock proof supposedly affordable devices here.

Their IP-68 smartphones they launched have similar look and build. The main differences are its core hardware specifications and screen sizes that vary from 4-inches to 8-inches. Check out the specs of the devices, which Ken Xin Da introduced below:

Apart from the above devices, Ken Xin Da also showcased their other non IP-68 smartphones that have equally impressive specifications like its A-series Android smartphones (pictured below).

The new company also plans to dominate the Lower B and C market with their feature phones and smartwatches with quite intriguing and interesting designs. One of the feature phones we like the most is the Ken Xin Da 2.2 because of its IP-68 design. I actually got a unit for us to tinker, and I must say that I’m really impressed with how tough it is.

The future isn’t actually dim for Ken Xin Da. The smartphone and mobile phone penetration in the Philippines have been growing steadily over the years. According to BMI Research, a member of Fitch group, “The smartphone market in Philippines has expanded rapidly in recent years, with market value up by 96% in 2013 and then a further 70.9% in 2014. The strong increases in smartphone market value resulted from a boom in unit sales as competition saw smartphone prices fall rapidly, deepening the market and resulting in volume growth rates of nearly 150% in 2013 and 2014. This has made the widening of smartphone ownership is the driving force in the continued development of the mobile handset market in the Philippines.” With such demand in mind, as long as Ken Xin Da excels in marketing and promoting its products to the right market, they can undeniably easily win the hearts of Filipinos.
