Things are getting a lot more interesting this year. We now live at the time when prices of commodities have been going down. A few weeks ago, Smart and MyPhone, pioneered a game-changing My28 Smartphone Kit, which only costs PhP888 a pop. The demand for the said bundle has greatly contributed to Smart’s and MyPhone’s brand, not to mention the number of foot traffic it has generated for the 2 companies.
Today, Cherry Prepaid, Cherry Mobile’s telco arm, announced the availability of Cherry Prepaid 799. The bundle includes a Cherry Mobile Flare Lite 2 Cherry Prepaid SIM and special offers. This is, by far, the cheapest bundle available in the market, which can definitely give consumers more purchase options. The said bundle is now available at all Cherry Mobile Concept Stores and Kiosks nationwide until April 30, 2016.
According to Cherry Mobile, the previous Cherry Prepaid SIM bundles (399, 999 and 1699) are still available, but with no changes in prices.
The bundled Cherry Mobile Flare Lite 2 was introduced a couple of weeks ago and have been selling for PhP1,999. With this new special bundle, the said device will only be available for PhP799. The device is powered by a 1.2 quad-core processor with 512mb RAM. Storage is capped at 4gb, but may be expanded thru a MicroSD slot up to 16gb.

Its Front camera is VGA, and Rear Camera is 5mp.It is capable of taking 2 MicroSIMs – the 1st slot has a pre-installed bundled Cherry Prepaid SIM while the 2nd SIM slot can take any SIM from different networks. According to Cherry Mobile, the SIM on 1st SIM slot is locked to Cherry Prepaid. If users take the SIM out of the tray, it’ll terminate the warranty of the device. Good thing its 2nd SIM slot is open to any networks.
