A couple of days ago, ASUS outed the prices of their latest line of Republic of Gamers laptops. You are probably familiar with one of the devices – the GL552JX – because we recently posted our unboxing and first impressions of it about 2 weeks ago.
To give you a quick recap of the prices and features of the new ROG laptops of ASUS, check out our Smart List below.
GL552JX-DM363T
The barest of them all, the GL552JX, is something the budget PC gamers should take a look at. We’ve playing around with it for more than 2 weeks now and I am very satisfied with it. I can play most A-list games like Street Fighter V, Cities Skylines, Metal Gear Solid V, etc.

Thel GL552VW has a 6th generation Intel processor, a pre-installed M.2 128gb SSD and an NVIDIA GTX960M. These 3 main upgrades make it a compelling choice other than the GL552JX.

G752VL-GC051T
Things get more interesting when we talk about the more premium variants of ROGs. The upgrade from GL552 to GL752 is phenomenal. If you’re really out in the market to get a gaming laptop, picking the GL752 over the GL552 is definitely a better decision.
For starters, the GC051T variant of the GL752 comes with bigger FHD screen, better GPU and longer battery life.

GX700VO
The grand daddy of them all is (and should definitely be) the most powerful. It simply outshines other laptops albeit its monstrous and huge built. It’s 17.3-inch FHD display is just insane, and its 64GB RAM is definitely an overkill even for my standards.

Its 6th Gen i7 6820HK processor and NVIDIA GTX980M are definitely compelling reasons for getting this laptop. It also includes a “Hydro colling system” – a first in the market – that allows the system to run cooler when it’s idle and regulates its temperature when its being overclocked to your heart’s content.
It will be available for a whopping PhP249,995 this March 2016.
