Dell XPS 15 Launch 24

Dell Philippines invited us for a quick gathering last May 29, and showed us their latest line-up of XPS and Inspiron laptops. What struck us the most was their announcement of their Intel Skylake-powered laptop, the XPS 15. Alongside the latter, Dell Philippines also introduced their entry-level ultraportable laptop, the Inspiron 11 3000.

We are pretty excited with the XPS 15 as it comes with impressive specifications, enough to delight gaming and professional consumers. It is the first virtually borderless InfinityEdge display to a 15-inch laptop, making it the smallest 15-inch laptop on the planet. We had a quick chat with Jay Ranola, Distribution Sales Manager and Consumer Head at Dell Philippines, and he told us that because of its “borderless” display, they are able to put it in a 14-inch case that only weighs 1.78kg.

According to Jay Ranola, “Dell continues to define the future of the PC and the role it plays in meeting our customers’ computing needs. Thus, it is my greatest pleasure introducing these new and beautiful innovations.” Impressive as it is, Ranola also added that apart from the quality they can get with Dell laptops, all their products are packaged with 1 Yr ProSupport – a service that other brands utterly lack.

Dell ProSupport gives clients 24×7 access to expert ProSupport engineers. The service also provides customers collaborative assistance for 3rd party software.
