Summer may already be over according to PAG-ASA, but this news from Cherry Mobile shouldn’t stop you from getting their latest Action Cam.
Dubbed as Cherry ActionCam Explorer 2, this new camera is powered by Google Android 5.1. If you would remember, a leaked photo of this device was seen last February during CeBit.
Selling for only PhP5,999, the new Explorer 2 features a 12mp camera with 170-degree wide angle lens. Max resolution of video and frame rate you can take with the device is Full HD at 30 frames per second. It has an internal storage of 8gb, but may easily be expanded up to 64gb via its expansion slot.
The device also has an HDMI port (D-type) should you want to watch your videos on bigger screens. And just in case you want to be so nerdy, the camera has a 1.3Ghz quad-core MTK6580 SoC with ARM Cortex-A7 MPcore processor. While there is a slim chance that you can play your favorite Android games here, the device has a Mali-400 MP GPU based on full MTK6580 specs sheet.
