These days, being VR-Ready usually means you’ll have to spend money on a big and powerful gaming rig. On the other hand, ASUS thinks otherwise. And now, they have come up with a solution to your woes. Introducing the VivoPC X.
At just under five pounds, the VivoPC X has all the power you’ll need to enter the VR race with an NVIDIA GTX 1060 graphics card, a i5 Kaby Lake processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. All while maintaining a compact and portable form factor.
It also has two HDMI ports, and a DisplayPort out (supports NVIDIA GSync displays), which would also make it a decent desktop machine.
The ASUS VivoPC X is priced at $799.
