It seems that Samsung is not only gearing up for the launch of the S8, but is also getting ready with an update to their J series of smartphones, as what seems to be the Galaxy J7 2017 just recently passed the FCC (US certification authority).
The device with the ID SM-J727 (Which, in Samsung’s code dictionary means, J7 2017), is rumored to have a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by an exynos chipset with 3GB of ram and a 3000mAh battery.
Hopefully, more information about this device will be revealed soon.
