Today, we were given such an opportunity, as we did a round table discussion with the company’s top execs, including the CEO himself, Mr. Arto Nummela (left) to talk about what Nokia has in store for the Philippine Market.

Simplicity is one of the key characteristics that would describe a Nokia phone, and the company wants to maintain that by providing the purest Android Experience across all applicable price points. No bloatware, no fancy alterations, just the goodness of Google’s operating system.

Nokia phones have always been known to be the definition of absolute quality. This doesn’t just revolve on how durable the phone is, but also what features it brings to the users. You have to know where to focus and what your users really need beyond the specifications.

Everything starts from a slab of metal, from which the body of the phone is carved from. The manufacturing process is rigorous, and takes 24 hours to complete all the steps.

The company also ensures that the new devices provide the most optimal power consumption.

Peace of Mind for the User

To address the ever-growing concerns about vulnerabilities, the company promises to send out security patches monthly to ensure that Nokia phones are at the lowest risk of being infected with viruses, or being attacked, which is something that no one else is doing right now.

Each Nokia feature phone is also covered by a 1 year replacement warranty. In case of a major problem, all you have to do is return it to the retailer, and you’ll get a replacement free of charge.

Things that are still being decided

The company is still looking into the possibility of putting up concept stores here in the Philippines, as well the distribution channels to be used (online/offline). In China, the Nokia 6 was initially sold online, and was selling like hotcakes. There’s also no confirmation on what colors per model will be available at launch.
