Yes, you’ve read that right. Apple has just announced a special edition red variant of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
The red variant of both devices sport an Aluminium finish, and has been launched as part of the company’s partnership with RED, which focuses on raising funds for AIDS victims, by coming out with red-themed designs for its products.
“The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can’t wait to get it into customers’ hands” – Tim Cook, Apple CEO
These special edition iPhones (with either 128GB or 256GB of storage) will be launching worldwide, and will be available online and in stores starting March 24, at a starting price of $749.
