Sony has just unveiled four new smartphones at MWC. In this article, we’ll talk about their newest flagships, the Xperia XZ Premium, and Xperia XZs.
The Xperia XZ Premium retains the premium and simplistic design approach that the Japanese tech giant is known for. Being only one of the few smartphones which sport a whopping 4K display, the XZ Premium once again raises the bar in visual prowess.
The 5.5-inch display in the XZ Premium is backed by HDR, with a 40% increase in brightness over the Xperia Z5. Sony didn’t hold back on internals too, as this powerhouse sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.
One unique thing about the XZ Premium is its Motion Eye Camera, which the company claims can capture 960fps videos in slow motion. That is 4 times more than what current phones can churn out.
The Sony Xperia XZs on the other hand, is basically an Xperia XZ with a Motion Eye Camera. It’s sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display, retains water proofing, and is still powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
The Xperia XZ Premium is scheduled to be available sometime in late spring, while the XZs will be making its way to stores in April.
