Nintendo has launched its newest console, the 2DS XL. It’s basically a proper version of the 2DS, and borrows its design from the 3DS XL minus the 3D Display.
The device sports a more compact and lighter design along with a more powerful processor, a C-Stick, and an NFC reader for Amiibos. No worries, it will still be compatible with 3DS games, it’s just that you wont be able to play them in 3D.
The Nintendo 2DS XL will cost $149.99, and will be available in Japan starting July 13, and July 28 in the US.
