A new ASUS device has recently been spotted in benchmarking site GFXBench. Named the ASUS X00lD, the specifications are hinting at a lower mid-range device.
The device runs on Android Nougat and has a 5.5-inch HD display. The Adreno 505 GPU suggests that the processor might be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430. There’s also 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
What makes this device very interesting though, is its dual rear camera setup (12MP + 5MP) which might be for the bokeh effect, or for better zoom. There’s also an 8MP selfie camera.
There’s no information as to when this device will be announced or how much it would cost, but judging by what we know, this could be a more budget-oriented version of the Zenfone 3 Zoom.
