PLDT Home and Smart Communications have name Clutch Gamers as the country’s official representative in the much-anticipated Manila Masters, the first Philippine International premier Dota 2 tournament, which will be held from May 26 to 28 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Clutch Gamers is composed of pro Dota 2 players Khim “Gabbi” Villafuerte, Armel Paul Tabios, Rafael Sicat “Rappy” Palo, Marvin “Boombacs” Rushton, and Kenneth “flysolo” Coloma. They have bested over 3000 other teams from the Philippines in the Nationwide Qualifiers, and will now be battling it out with seven of the world’s best.
So what’s at stake? the grand prize winner gets to take home $250,000 and the coveted title of being the first winner of the event.
