Selfie fans rejoice! as Vivo will be launching its newest camera focused smartphone later this afternoon, the Vivo V5s!
The event will be at 4PM in SM North EDSA Annex, and will be graced by the presence of Vivo’s executives and key personalities in the smartphone and tech world including Verniece Enciso, a lifestyle blogger.
Fans will also be treated to exciting performances from actor and model Tony Labrusca, as well as Ford Valencia, Joao Constancia, Niel Murillo, Russell Reyes, and Tristan Ramirez of BoybandPH.
The Vivo V5s sports a 20MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for crystal-clear and vibrant selfies. It also features the selfie soft light flash, which allows you to take well illuminated selfies even in challenging conditions. Add to that, an enhanced night mode for better low light shots.
The 13MP rear camera of the V5s also takes beautiful stills, and features an ultra-high definition mode that can render images of up to 52MP.
It also features App Clone, which lets users login to two different accounts with the same social media app. It currently supports chat apps like WhatsApp, Line, BBM, and Viber.
In terms of looks, the V5s uses the familiar design language of the V5 series smartphones, consisting of a metal and glass body. The 5.5-inch display is also protected with Gorilla Glass, while the side panel and back cover seamlessly meet in curved edges and elegant lines, which makes it comfortable to hold.
The V5s has been fitted with a Hi-Fi Music AK4376 audio chip for an extraordinary listening experience, may it be on speaker or a pair of headphones. Powering the device is an Octa-Core CPU with 4GB of RAM, and runs on Vivo’s FuntouchOS 3.0 on top of Android Marshmallow.
The Vivo V5s is priced at PhP14,990 and is now available in stores nationwide. As a way of saying thank you for the unwavering support, a lucky fan will also get to take home a Vivo V5s through a special raffle to be held during the event.
