This came out as something we didn’t expect.
Cloudfone also announced Excite Prime 2 Pro. The Pro version sports a fairly better specs than its kin. This one has 2 rear facing cameras: a 13MP + 8MB cameras with advanced Portrait Mode, which can produce photos with Bokeh effect. The new smartphone also has a 20MP front facing camera, which also supports Portrait Mode.
Eric Yu said that Cloudfone has been putting much effort in building software and tune the camera and sensors correctly. Cloudfone had to join forces with various brands in the world to put up something amazing for Filipino consumers.

Apart from cameras, Cloudfone took a lot of inspiration from the designers all over the world. Eric Yu, in fact, took up a red version of the Excited Prime 2 Pro, and I must admit that it looked beautiful. Despite all the cool things about the Excite Prime 2 Pro, the company said that they will not taking away affordability as the main driver in their business.
Cloudfone didn’t announce the price of Excite Prime 2 Pro, but we’re betting our ass it will be priced less than PhP10,000.
Cloudfone also teased a few products, which they will launch this year. In fact, they even showed their “next” phone, a working engineering phone, which features a 5.7-inch with 18:9 screen ratio. Specs weren’t announced during the event, but Cloudfone announced that it will blow everyone away. Expected launch is early Q4 2017.
