If you think that your phone takes low quality selfies, local smartphone maker, Cloudfone, just announced their big shift of focus to making phones with better cameras. Earlier today, the company announced 2 new smartphones, which are set to reshape the company towards making “awesome” devices, able to deliver the Cloudfone’s commitment to solve the problem of low quality selfies.
According to Cloudfone CEO, Eric Yu, the market’s and customers’ demands and needs shift the direction of their company. Their previous metal series in 2016 brought excitement to consumers. This brought Cloudfone to grow their sales to 11% during the 1st quarter of 2017. This year, due to the demand of Filipinos to taking amazing photos, Cloudfone changes their direction by focusing on camera. For Cloudfone, Filipinos deserve awesome smartphones.
Cloudfone Excite Prime 2
First off, they launched the successor to the well loved Excite Prime, the Excite Prime 2. The new smartphone sports a 5.5-inch HD display with 2.D glass, and is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core cpu clocked at 1.3GHz. There’s also 3GB of RAM, which should be enough for the average user, and 32GB of internal storage expandable with a microSD card.
Excite Prime 2 has a 13MP auto-focus main camera, and a specialized 8MP front camera that is capable of producing the depth of field effect, aka “Bokeh”, along with a front flash for needed illumination in low light conditions. Moreover, the device runs on Android Nougat out of the box and packs a 3,000mAh battery. Pricing and availability is still to be confirmed.

A Fitting Event and Exciting Campaign by Cloudfone
The event, which Cloudfone, mounted today is probably one of the most organized and unique ones I’ve experienced. Our videos below show everything we did the whole day, and the word ‘awesome’ truly fits very well to every experience.
Delivering ‘awesome experience’ is key to Cloudfone’s latest campaign: “You deserve awesome”.
Every awesome experience needs to be documented, and an awesome selfie phone at a price that fit the budget complete the full campaign of Cloudfone.
