Huawei has set another milestone by winning three awards in the recently concluded 2017 Philippine Quill Awards. This prestigious award is given to companies and creative agencies which have exhibited excellence in Business Communication.
The tech giant won an award in three separate categories: Marketing, Advertising and Brand Communications, Media Relations and Social Media Programs for its Huawei: The Making of a Challenger Brand Through the Introduction of the Huawei P9 campaign, which was formulated and developed in collaboration with Ogilvy Public Relations – Pulse Communications Manila which also won two Gold Anvils at the 52nd Anvil Awards.
The Huawei P9 camaign emphasized brand awareness and highlighted the Filipino consumers passion for photography. This in turn, led to the device being the most highly searched Huawei Smartphone in the country, apart from outselling its predecessor by five times tripling the brand’s market share in a span of just six months.
