The LG Q6, the Korean tech giant’s newest smartphone to sport the FullVision display, is now available in the Philippines!
The Q series is the company’s latest lineup of powerful, mid-range devices that boast the essential features of the more premium handsets at exceptional price points. As the first device launched under the lineup, The LG Q6 features some of the most advanced innovations from the G6, and is packaged in a sleek and stunning body with minimized bezels.
The LG Q6 is the first smartphone in the mid-range category to sport a unique 5.5-inch FHD+ FullVision display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. This makes media consumption all the more immersive. The phone’s bezel-less form factor is designed to maximize the screen while at the same time preventing accidental touches of the screen when held.
There are no unsightly camera bumps here, only a sleek body with attractive curves and rounded corners packed in a stylish metal frame.
Not only does the Q6 look good, but it’s also easier to use. Thanks to ergonomic research during development, the device is very comfortable to hold and use with one hand. There’s also LG’s proprietary Face Recognition feature, which allows you to unlock the device much faster compared to other existing technologies.
The LG Q6 also boasts excellence in imaging, as it hosts a 100-degree wide angle selfie camera for more subjects in one shot. The camera’s LG UX 6.0 takes advantage of every bit of the 18:9 FullVision display. Then there’s Square Camera mode which makes it easier to create collages using multiple square images.
The metal frame surrounding the LG Q6 is made from ultra-strong 7000 series aluminium, one of the strongest material, and is used extensively in the aerospace industry. The device is also subjected to over 20 battery tests that are more stringent than international protocols.
