Today, after several teasers about their newest global ambassador, Gong Yoo, ASUS confirmed the official launch of the Zenfone 4 on August 17 in ASUS Global Press Conference in Taiwan.
Zenfone 4 was a no-show during Computex 2017. The announcement today at their Global Facebook page confirms the rumor that the new flagship will get a separate and more grandeur launch, compared to its previous flagship, which was unveiled last Computex 2016.
Based on the teasers released by ASUS last July 2017, the latest Zenfone 4’s features are highly focused on power, style and style, thus the We Love Photo tag line.
We analyzed the caption per image, and came up with these:
- Time to be more than ONE: dual camera lens
- Time to see MORE: zooming capability
- Time to be CLEARER: AMOLED screen
- Time to see more than ONE: Unique camera software technology

Could these images be the Zenfone 4, Zenfone 4 Selfie, Zenfone 4 Pro and the Zenfone 4 Max?
Robert Pezzali of dday.it even replied to Krispitech an alleged image (probaby housed in a slim case) of the Zenfone 4 Pro along with hardware specifications.

Last July 2017, consumers got a glimpse of the “battery king” version of Zenfone 4 Max. We are not entirely sure why they launched it earlier than its flagship, but we find it an amazing way to tease what could be in store for those who have been eagerly anticipating for the Zenfone 4.
