Apart from the Zenfone 4 and the new flagship Zenfone 4 Pro, ASUS also launched two new selfie-centric devices in the form of the Zenfone 4 Selfie and Zenfone Selfie Pro.
ASUS Zenfone 4 Selfie
The Zenfone 4 Selfie sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor at its core. There’s 4GB of RAM for multitasking, a generous 64GB of internal storage for your music, photos, and videos, and a 3000mAh battery. The Zenfone 4 Selfie uses a triple slot tray, so you can use two SIM cards along with your memory card at the same time.
The highlight of this phone however, is its dual 20MP + 8MP front facing cameras fitted with a 120° wide angle lens and a softlight LED for lighting in less than ideal conditions. It’s also used to soften skin texture, and bring out a natural skin tone for great looking selfies. The 16MP rear camera is fitted with phase detection auto-focus for capturing moments with superb clarity and detail.
The Zenfone 4 Selfie also features the innovative SelfieMaster app, which lets users choose from a variety of beautification effects including skin tone, skin softening, skin whitening, blemish removal, eye enhancement, and facial-feature balancing.
Users can adjust the strength of beautification, and can apply effects in real time, even when shooting a video or streaming live on social media sites.
The Zenfone 4 selfie comes in Sunlight Gold, Rose Pink, Deepsea Black, and Mint Green for the price of 279 USD.
ASUS Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro
The Pro version of the ASUS Zenfone 4 Selfie has a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass, and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB of RAM 64GB of built-in storage, and a 3000mAh battery.
The Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro features 24MP + 5MP dual front cameras along with ASUS’ SuperPixel Engine for capturing brighter low-light selfies, and 4K UHD selfie videos. It’s also fitted with a 120° wide angle lens to fit more subjects in each shot.
The main camera in particular, offers 2x greater light sensitivity, reducing graininess in photos. Like the Zenfone 4 Selfie, it also has a softlight LED for use in less than ideal conditions.
The Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro comes in Rouge Red, Sunlight Gold and Deepsea Black, and is priced at 379 USD.
