Determined to upgrade their game in the smartphone industry, Filipino company Torque Mobile, recently launched new Ego smartphones and tablets at Francesco’s Kitchen in San Juan City. In Torque’s pursuit of differentiating itself from the competition, the company also announced their strategic partnership with Air21 to power up Torque Express.
Dubbed as EGO Social Boosters, the new smartphones and tablets are positioned for first-time smartphone users. There is still a large percentage of the population who has not used a smartphone, which leaves an opportunity for brands like Torque to get a piece of the pie. The launch of the new smartphones by Torque marks a renewed beginning from the brand after they suffered a .1% brand share loss last 2016 vs 2015 according to Euromonitor.
Torque is posed to bounce back, and they seem to be determined to rally their forces to promote their EGO line heavily. While affordability is one of the highlights of their latest products, Torque is pretty much focused on bringing in devices with dependable specs. For their smartphone line, EGO Zoom Lite and EGO Note 4G are 700Mhz-LTE band compatible, pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat and HD displays. Its EGO Note 3G’ specs, on the other hand, can also hold up with its 1.3GHz Quad Core processor and 1GB RAM, albeit without LTE connectivity.

With this new service, Torque customers can easily contact the company to get their products repaired (if needed). Drop off points will be relayed by the customer support representative to those who will call in.
As a treat to the attendees of Torque’s media gathering and to its customers, their brand ambassador Elisse Joson graced the event for a meet and greet, and to announce their latest exclusive promos.
