AMD has recently announced the global availability and broad adoption of its Ryzen PRO desktop processors designed to cater to the most compute-intensive and business-focused workloads, delivering unparalleled security, reliability and performance to both enterprise and public sectors.
With up to 8 processing cores and built around the new Zen architecture, AMD Ryzen PRO processors feature groundbreaking tech such as GuardMI and SenseMI to ensure optimal performance and protection from an ever-evolving list of threats.
AMD has also unveiled the Ryzen Threadripper 1900X. An 8-core, 16-thread processor offers all the benefits users have come to expect from Threadripper at a more accessible entry point.
Global OEM Support
In the coming months, enterprise customers can plan on purchasing Ryzen PRO-based systems from top vendors such as Dell, HP, and Lenovo.
Availability
- Dell Optiplex 5055, HP EliteDesk 705, and Lenovo ThinkCentre M715 desktop PCs are expected to ship in the coming weeks.
- Lenovo ThinkPad A475 and A275 notebook PCs are expected to be available in Q4 2017.
- Ryzen PRO mobile processors are set for launch in the first half of 2018.
- Ryzen Threadripper 1900X will be available for purchase starting September 1, 2017.
