UBTECH Robotics, an industry leader in AI and humanoid robotics recently introduced the Alpha 1 Pro interactive consumer robot for the Philippine market.
The Alpha 1 Pro features 16 high-precision servo motors that enables it to replicate human movements. May it be push ups, choreography, even kung-fu moves, each servo can rotate at a given speed, allowing the robot to exhibit precise movements.
Alpha 1 Pro is Bluethooth 4.0 enabled, which means that it can easily connect to a mobile app. Available for both iOS and Android, the dedicated app lets you control up to 4 robots on iOS and 1 on Android directly from your smartphone or tablet.
PRP (Pose, Record, Playback) programming lets you easily save movements by moving the robot physically. All you have to do is enable the recording option, change the position of the robot, and stop recording. You can also change the speed of each movement.
A software for Alpha 1 Pro is available on Windows and Mac, and lets you personalize the movements of the robot. Using an intuitive 3D interface, you can select individual servos, select the rotation angle and the speed of the movement. You can even add music, or even a voice chip. When done, just transfer the sequence to the robot via USB, and launch it using the mobile app.
You can also download online actions created by UBTECH as well as other users around the world. Many of these are available for free, and can further enhance the capabilities of the Alpha 1 Pro.
The Alpha 1 Pro is fun to control for all ages (adult supervision is required for those under 14 years), thanks to a built-in speaker. This robot is an ideal instrument for learning simple programming, and is suitable for young amateurs and beginners for its structural design, as well as eco-friendly and shock resistant materials.
