Vivo Y69 Launches in PH: Octa-Core Processor, 13MP Camera, Android Nougat

Earlier today, Vivo officially launched its newest mid-range device for the Philippine market, the Y69. As a “Perfect Selfie” smartphone, it touts great camera offerings for selfie and photography enthusiasts. It also features “Group Selfie” so your friends won’t be left out when taking photos.

The Vivo Y69 has a 5.5-inch HD display with a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core CPU at the helm clocked at 1.5GHz. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, expandable via microSD card.

As for the cameras, the device sports a 13MP sensor at the rear with the live photo feature, which allows it to capture moving images. There’s also a 16MP front snapper capable of the bokeh effect and group selfie.

The Y69 packs a 3,000mAh battery, and runs on Vivo’s Funtouch OS 3.2 on top of Android 7.0 Nougat. Other features include Dual SIM capability and OTG.

Its other highlighted feature, Smart Slip 3.0, debuts in Y69. This enables users to run two apps at the same time, a souped-up core feature of Android Nougat. Packed in its app as well is App Clone, which allows multiple instances of one at to run at the same time. This will allow several profiles of a social media app – for example – to run two separate apps.

The Vivo Y69 comes in is now available in Vivo concept stores, kiosks, and authorized retailers for only PhP10,990.
